Eligibility: writers unpublished in book-length fiction (40,000+ words) in the past five years.
Entry: All electronic. First 25 pages (including Prologue, if applicable), plus up to three page synopsis (unjudged), in .rtf format.

Note: new this year are the romantic suspense, YA, and erotic romance categories. Also new this year: categories include “strong romantic elements” in the sub-genre. For example, whether you’ve written a paranormal romance or a paranormal with strong romantic elements, you’ll enter it in the paranormal category, not the NSRE category. Scoresheets will reflect this change.
