CFRW Authors Help Fight Illiteracy …CFRW authors autographed books for three hours at the 2005 annual “Readers for Life” Literacy Autographing, which kicks off the RWA National Conference each July. With the help of publishers like Avon Books, Ballantine, Bantam, Berkley, Dell, Dorchester, Harlequin Books, HaperCollins, Jove, Kensington, Leisure, Penguin Putnam, Pocket Books, St. Martin’s Press and Warner Books, Romance Writers of America (RWA) donated more than
$60,000 to fight illiteracy in Dallas, Texas, and the nation, this summer.
